About the position
Envolve Community Management Company owns and professionally manages apartment communities located in select markets throughout the southeastern United States. Currently, we are searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at one of our communities in Bryan, TX. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartment communities.
- Apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
- Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, and perform basic carpentry.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties as required.
- Complete work orders and forms to document maintenance operations.
Requirements
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- HVAC certification with 3+ years of Maintenance Technician experience.
- Ability to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
- Availability for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Background screening and drug test required.
