About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Airswift involves ensuring the ongoing operations and maintenance of facilities in Jal, NM. This position is crucial for performing preventative and corrective maintenance work, ensuring safety, and maintaining effective communication with service providers and personnel. The role is offered on a 2-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the successful ongoing operations and maintenance of facilities.
• Uses various tools and equipment such as shovels, rakes, post hole diggers, hammers, sledgehammers, hand wrenches, electric drills, electric saws, measuring tapes, squares, and gas-powered leaf blowers.
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance work at production and support facilities.
• Captures daily work status and communicates the next day's schedule with appropriate personnel.
• Communicates with service providers to ensure their availability to meet scheduling needs.
• Completes work plans in a safe and timely manner.

Requirements

• Entry and intermediate level (1-3 years of experience) in maintenance or related fields.
• Experience as a Lease Operator is a plus.
• Ability to provide more technical support than administrative support.
• Must be a safety-conscious individual with a strong work ethic and a team player.
• Must have a good driving record to operate company equipment inside facility boundaries.
