About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Pure Options is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the facilities and equipment across multiple cannabis locations in Michigan. This role involves performing preventative and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and installing new mechanical and electronic equipment under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will contribute to a fast-paced and inspiring work environment by ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on all assigned equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Install new mechanical and electronic equipment as needed.
- Maintain the grounds at each location.
- Use test instruments to diagnose issues with equipment.
- Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations regarding machinery safety systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
- Proficient in electrical and plumbing skills.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic relay control circuits and associated motor starters.
- Knowledge of rotating machinery including pumps and drives.
- Ability to read and understand engineering specifications and plans.
