About The Position
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, and more. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly while observing all health and safety guidelines. The primary goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, with a focus on both preventative and corrective measures to uphold the standards of the facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for surveying buildings and repairing mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. This includes performing maintenance on electrical systems, such as replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, and assisting in the setup of ventilation and refrigeration systems. The technician will also maintain heating and plumbing systems, inspect alarm systems, and conduct manual repairs as necessary. Additionally, the role involves pest control activities, general upkeep procedures like landscaping, and other tasks as assigned, including painting and carpentry. The technician will also assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to it, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance operations.
