About the position
WellBorn Management is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and ensure the success of multiple hospitality concepts within a designated region. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence, maximizing sales and profits, and fostering a culture of high performance and customer service. The Director will oversee management staff, serve as a liaison between regional businesses and the corporate office, and implement strategic plans to enhance business performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee management staff and develop top talent within the concept.
- Serve as the liaison between regional businesses and the corporate office ensuring strong communication.
- Focus on daily sales, marketing plans, and unit operations including costs, labor, and guest relations.
- Maximize sales and profits by setting the standard of excellent customer service.
- Supervise, train, motivate, and develop General Managers and management teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Audit and review management teams for sales-building plans, people development, and operational issues.
- Implement annual strategic plan for area concepts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews; cash, sales, and labor audits.
- Ensure company standards are enforced and met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role managing multi-units in the hospitality industry.
- Experience overseeing and supporting Management Teams in the assigned region.
- Ability to attract, develop, and retain high performing work teams.
- Outstanding leadership skills and able to motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of managers in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong math skills and Windows-based computer skills.
- Hands-on, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
