About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Complete Care at West Caldwell is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, ensuring safety and compliance within the facility. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility safety and compliance with regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently.
- Assist with setup and teardown of events and special functions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure all maintenance equipment and tools are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support a safe and pleasant environment for residents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred.
