About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Pacifica Senior Living Menifee is responsible for ensuring the successful physical operations of the community by performing various maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential in promoting a high sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents, families, and staff. The technician will report to the Maintenance Director and will be involved in a range of maintenance activities including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of work orders.
• Assist with move-in/out details.
• Prepare/repair rooms for resident use.
• Repair plumbing fixtures.
• Repair electrical apparatus.
• Repair appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions on floors.
• Perform door removal and installation.
• Repair door locks and make adjustments.
• Perform wall texturing, painting, wall repairs, and wallpapering.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Degree or certificate from a two-year technical school program preferred.
• Demonstrated success in a similar position.
• Valid First Aid Certification may be required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math-solving skills.
