About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. This role involves assisting the manager in maintaining smooth operations to enhance customer satisfaction. The position is customer-facing and includes general maintenance tasks, equipment repair, and compliance with safety policies. Love's provides training for those without prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service duties including assistance and issue resolution.
- Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
- Use various tools and equipment for facility maintenance, including HVAC systems, fuel systems, and plumbing repair.
- Conduct site inspections and perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, and Leadership Roles.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Lift and move items weighing 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
