About the position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks related to electrical controls, machine repair, and preventative maintenance. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and systems within the facility, while also being flexible to assist in emergency situations and work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works with various types of electrical controls, controllers, plant power and circuits.
• Assists technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required.
• Performs all preventative maintenance requirements as scheduled.
• Assembles and disassembles tooling and gauges.
• Handles other duties including electrical, ventilation, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and welding as needed.
• Schedules time, materials, and equipment required to perform tasks, and completes required forms accurately.
• Possesses knowledge of robotic systems and welders, with Yaskawa robotic experience being a plus.
• Utilizes PLC Alan Bradley Software.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 5 years' experience preferred.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Yaskawa robotic systems.
• Familiarity with PLC Alan Bradley Software.
