About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Towne Properties is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks in a multi-family residential setting, focusing on HVAC systems, plumbing, and general maintenance. This role requires a strong customer service orientation, as the technician will interact with residents and address their maintenance needs while ensuring the community is well-maintained and presentable. The position includes an on-call rotation and offers opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Utilize skills in HVAC, pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, apartment turnovers, appliance repair, carpentry, locks and keys, and lighting.
• Complete resident work orders while maintaining positive resident relations and keeping the community clean and presentable.
• Address emergencies during on-call shifts or as situations arise.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years in multi-family residential maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems and plumbing.
• General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, apartment turnovers, grounds, pool care, lighting, and more.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude when addressing residents' needs.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a reliable truck or van and auto insurance.
• Willingness to submit to a drug and background check if offered the position.
