About the position
The Maintenance Technician at MillerKnoll is responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automated machines, utilizing extensive knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems. This role requires flexibility to work in various environments and the ability to perform physical tasks, ensuring the maintenance and functionality of equipment in alignment with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex automated machines.
- Troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Perform milling, welding, fabrication, and use various power tools.
- Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Document preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Abide by OSHA regulations and ISO compliance.
- Work in various environments including ladders, scaffolding, and extreme temperatures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
- Mechanical knowledge including welding and CNC.
- Experience in facilities maintenance.
