About the position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine custodial duties and maintenance tasks at the Ilikai Marina. This includes cleaning, monitoring mechanical equipment, and completing various repair work such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. The role requires a proactive approach to identify and address structural failures and emergencies, ensuring the property is well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties including cleaning and maintaining common areas.
• Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as hot water boilers and air conditioning chillers.
• Complete repair work including painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
• Conduct inspections of the grounds and facilities after inclement weather.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks such as trash room inspections and perimeter maintenance.
• Execute weekly maintenance assignments including building inspections and stairwell cleaning.
• Assist with emergency procedures and know how to respond to various building emergencies.

Requirements

• 1 year of maintenance experience required.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Knowledge of building mechanical equipment and emergency procedures.
