About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, including high-speed automated packaging lines and various other machinery. The position requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with electrical systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Maintain high-speed automated packaging lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various production machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for repairs and installations.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical principles.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience with shop equipment (lathes, mills, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches.
• Working knowledge of shop measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Nice-to-haves

• Electrical and/or electro-mechanical experience is a plus.
