About the position

The Maintenance Technician at CGB Enterprises, Inc. is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and inspection of all facility equipment and general facility maintenance. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The technician will also engage in various skilled maintenance tasks such as electrical work, welding, and carpentry as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily walk-through of facility and equipment to assess needs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as they arise.
• Maintain inventory for routine maintenance tasks.
• Complete documentation of maintenance activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform general housekeeping and clean-up of work areas.
• Engage in skilled maintenance tasks such as electrical work, welding, and carpentry when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
• Preferred: Mechanical Maintenance Certificate.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of mechanical maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in an industrial environment with a dependable work record.
• Mechanical Maintenance Certificate.
