About the position

The Maintenance Technician position at The Rose Group (Applebee's franchisee) is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all restaurant equipment. This role involves preventive and routine maintenance, as well as managing material purchases to maintain the appearance and safety of the restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment including fryers, refrigeration units, and HVAC units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance on restaurant equipment.
• Manage material purchases related to maintenance activities.
• Ensure a safe and efficient operation of all equipment in the restaurants.
• Promote a nice appearance and safe environment for the restaurant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• EPA License
• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Technician servicing restaurants
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, gas operated equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, and general restaurant equipment
• Basic computer and time management skills
