The Maintenance Technician at Hayden Properties is responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of the apartment community in New Braunfels, TX. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs, while ensuring a high level of service to residents. Responsibilities
- Maintain the property in excellent condition, both inside and out.
- Run work orders related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Respond to after-hour emergencies and complete maintenance requests promptly.
- Promote the company's core values of Integrity, Continuous Improvement, and Excellence to residents and employees.
- Organize and keep track of work orders and keys.
Requirements
- Valid HVAC Certification license.
- Mastery of appliance, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing skills.
- Experience using power tools.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and explain solutions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work orders and emergencies.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, and climb ladders and stairs.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- EPA Certification is preferred.
