The Maintenance Technician role at BG Multifamily involves performing various maintenance tasks in residential properties, focusing on service requests related to plumbing, electrical work, and general upkeep. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. The ideal candidate will have some experience in property maintenance and be able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Complete and troubleshoot common apartment service requests
• Perform light plumbing and electrical tasks
• Change and repair light bulbs and locks
• Install and repair appliances
• Conduct exterior and interior painting and caulking
• Perform light drywall repair
• Pressure wash and maintain grounds, including leaf blowing of breezeways and parking lots

Requirements

• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• Ability and desire to assist with community projects
• Enjoy working with others and taking direction
• Ownership of basic hand tools (e.g., screwdriver, channel lock/pliers, wrenches)
• Experience with power tools is a plus
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
