About the position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining and repairing various systems within residential and commercial properties. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Address and resolve maintenance requests from tenants or clients promptly and professionally.
• Conduct minor electrical repairs, including troubleshooting electrical systems and replacing fixtures.
• Execute residential painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
• Supervise and lead small teams during larger maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory management.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and general building maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients or tenants.
• Experience in supervising teams or leading projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques and materials is desirable.
