Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot metal cutting machines and assembly machines for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures.
- Read and interpret complex hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various machines and systems.
- Realign mechanical systems using dial indicators or other methods.
- Utilize various hand tools and shop equipment for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct PLC and/or CNC troubleshooting and programming as needed.
- Use electrical test equipment such as voltmeters, amp probes, and oscilloscopes for diagnostics.
- Employ measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for precision work.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of three-phase electricity and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Experience with troubleshooting PLC and CNC systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance methods.
- Knowledge of welding and pipe fitting techniques.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and shop equipment.
