About the position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a brand new hotel in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel maintenance and be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure all systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to facility upkeep and collaboration with team members to lead maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Execute building painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards in rooms and public spaces.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Operate and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair issues effectively.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
• Experience with facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems.
• Leadership skills to guide team efforts during maintenance projects.
• Hotel maintenance experience required.
• Competence in structural repairs or enhancements.
• 3 years of maintenance experience required.
