We are looking for outstanding and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join a great team on site in Denver! This position requires maintenance experience and is ideal for candidates who have demonstrated stability in their prior work history and are seeking a permanent position. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle, as travel to multiple properties may be necessary. Previous make ready and maintenance experience is strongly desired, along with a strong work ethic and a team player mentality. Candidates should own basic hand tools and have excellent communication skills to handle various maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively. The Apartment Maintenance Technician will perform apartment inspections, complete work orders, and perform make readies, which may include tasks such as caulking, light plumbing, and electrical work. The candidate must be able to operate common maintenance-related tools, including but not limited to key machines, steam clean/shampoo machines, spray paint rigs, electric saws, cordless screwdrivers, drills, air conditioners, boilers, water heaters, and various hand tools. This role requires regular interaction with residents, vendors, contractors, and all levels of employees, necessitating excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office is a plus, along with basic knowledge of OSHA requirements and local ordinances. The responsibilities also include maintaining the curb appeal of the property, ensuring the functionality and appearance of all aspects of the property, and providing excellent customer service to residents, vendors, staff, and visitors. The technician will be responsible for preparing units for move-ins, completing work order requests for tenants, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops. Flexibility to work at other properties as required by the management team is essential, as is the ability to prioritize service requests and emergencies in collaboration with the Community Manager. The technician will also monitor the completion of service requests to limit callbacks and perform various repairs and replacements as needed.
