About the position
The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time position focused on providing on-site technical support and equipment maintenance. The technician will work primarily on the 2nd shift, interacting with Engineering and Production management to address equipment and system problems, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting production duties and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support and equipment maintenance.
- Perform emergency equipment repairs as needed.
- Support waste treatment processes and assess equipment issues.
- Interact with Engineering and Production management and staff.
- Prioritize work assignments based on changing needs.
- Use precision measuring tools accurately.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience with precision measuring instruments.
- 6 years of experience reading schematics.
- 5 years of maintenance experience.
- 11+ years of experience in a related field.
- 3 years of English proficiency.
- 8 years of math proficiency.
- 1 year of electrical experience.
- 9 years of mechanical knowledge.
- 2 years of experience using micrometers.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience or alternative formal training in maintenance.
