About the position
The Maintenance Technician position at Cottonwood Residential involves providing essential maintenance services at the Retreat at Peachtree City Apartments. The role requires a skilled technician to perform various repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents. The technician will be responsible for on-call duties, including emergency repairs during nights and weekends, and will work closely with the Service Manager to uphold company standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry for household and property grounds.
- Provide after-hours emergency service as an on-call technician.
- Communicate effectively with customers and process company paperwork.
- Maintain safety and operating manuals and procedures.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs and navigate difficult terrain.
Requirements
- Valid HVAC Certification license required.
- Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
Nice-to-haves
- EPA certification Type I and II is a plus.
- Experience in Lean methodologies.
