About the position

The Tech II position involves the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of material handling equipment, such as conveyors. The role focuses on ensuring equipment functionality through preventative maintenance routines and troubleshooting, while also managing inventory and documentation related to maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors)
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures
• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries
• Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment
• Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts

Requirements

• Experience in industrial maintenance
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to read schematics
• Experience with motors and diesel equipment
