About the position

Pries Enterprises Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. The technician will work on a rotating 12-hour night shift, contributing to the maintenance department's goals and customer satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues based on observations and investigations.
• Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
• Input thorough data into the CMMS system to track downtime and inventory needs.
• Lead projects or teams with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices, and procedures within the department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of related experience in an industrial maintenance department.
• Hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Motor experience preferred.
• Electrical experience is a plus.
