About the position

We're looking for a trustworthy technician to maintain the physical condition of one of our properties. As part of the Maintenance team, you'll help with the requests that come in each day pertaining to the more technical side of the building- like appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. We love to keep our buildings looking beautiful, so you'll also be responsible for routine cosmetic updates - such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows. In this role, you will execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently. You will remain at the ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins. Your responsibilities will include making repairs in the building to things like doors, locks, tiles, and handrails. You will also monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers, and maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed to make repairs on the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to identify safety concerns and solve them.

Nice-to-haves

• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC.
