About The Position
United Property Associates (UPA) is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach. Founded in 1978, UPA has established itself as a leader in property management, catering to apartment communities, homeowner and condominium associations, and single-family homes in the Hampton Roads area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing multi-family properties and maintenance personnel, ensuring that our clients receive superior service and that their properties are well-maintained. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the upkeep and functionality of our properties. This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can establish relationships quickly with a diverse group of people. You will be expected to maintain a high energy level and demonstrate excellent customer service skills while being goal-oriented and results-focused. Your responsibilities will include performing HVAC maintenance, plumbing repairs, and basic electrical work, as well as completing maintenance service requests as assigned. You will also be involved in the make-ready process for vacant units and maintaining the grounds to ensure curb appeal. A commitment to professionalism and a courteous attitude is essential, as you will represent UPA in all interactions with clients and residents.
