About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Robin Run Village is responsible for performing general maintenance, service, and repair tasks within a healthcare facility that offers various living services. This role is essential in ensuring the facility operates smoothly and meets all regulatory standards while providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform general operating maintenance, service, and repair of the facility's interior and exterior.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents for repairs in their rooms, including plumbing, electrical, heating, and replacing light bulbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) in healthcare facilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and associates at all levels of the organization.
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination.
