About the position
As a Maintenance Technician at Nestlé Purina Pet Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operation of industrial and packaging machinery through preventative and predictive maintenance tasks. This position is essential for managing the functionality and safe working order of manufacturing equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the factory.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial and packaging machinery.
- Troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
- Manage the maintenance schedule and tasks assigned to improve machinery performance.
- Collect oil samples and analyze lubrication needs for machinery.
- Utilize knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and welding techniques to maintain equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED AND 1+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, automotive or military environment.
- OR a 2-year technical degree.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with advanced mechanical systems and automation.
