About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Amac Enterprises is responsible for the repair and maintenance of production machinery, ensuring operational efficiency in a commercial heat treating and plating environment. This role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and installation of new equipment, contributing to the overall productivity of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of all production machinery
- Installation of new equipment
- Plumbing (steel, copper, PVC)
- Pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
- Troubleshooting
- Basic electrical repair (replacing motors, fuses, running conduit)
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Light welding and fabrication
Requirements
- Experience in repairing and maintaining production machinery
- Knowledge of plumbing systems (steel, copper, PVC)
- Ability to perform pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
- Basic electrical repair skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Welding and fabrication skills
