About the position

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a local company in the Flathead Valley. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with licensed contractors and vendors for all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment. The role requires a proactive approach to facility management, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and that any issues are addressed promptly. The Maintenance Technician will conduct regular inspections and repairs on various systems, including mechanical, electrical, and installed systems. This includes responding to work orders related to equipment, lighting, and repairs of both exterior and interior elements of the facility. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the facility, particularly during adverse weather conditions, which includes snow removal. Additionally, the technician will support any after-hours building-related emergencies, ensuring that the property remains in excellent condition at all times. This role is crucial for keeping the property attractive and functional, and it requires a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and a basic understanding of engineering policies and procedures related to plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general preventative maintenance on the building.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with licensed contractors and vendors on all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Perform inspections and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, installed systems, equipment, lighting, and related equipment.
• Respond to work orders related to facility maintenance.
• Maintain the grounds of the facility during weather events, including snow removal.
• Support any after-hours building-related emergencies.
• Keep the property in attractive condition as it pertains to maintenance functions.

Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous building maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering policies and procedures, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems.
