About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on multi-axis CNC equipment at customer sites across North America. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, technical support, and adherence to safety guidelines while traveling extensively to various locations for service work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance of multi-axis CNC equipment.
• Perform machine and software upgrades.
• Handle 480VAC safely.
• Interpret mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
• Complete required paperwork on time, including service reports, discrepancy reports, and expense reports.
• Provide technical telephone support to customers.
• Conduct final product testing in-house as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with diagnosing and repairing CNC equipment.
• Ability to perform machine and software upgrades.
• Knowledge of handling 480VAC safely.
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical layout drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong organizational skills to complete paperwork on time.
