About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Champions Club is responsible for performing ongoing hotel maintenance and completing repairs on various equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel facilities, contributing to a high-quality guest experience through effective maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to repair requests
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and shut-offs for buildings
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards
• Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g., pump and motor replacement), plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical equipment including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guest room items
• Program televisions and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties
• Painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair
• Lightbulb and A/C filter replacement as needed
• Thorough clean up of the painting or work area
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in hotel or commercial building
• Detail-oriented with proven ability to work under deadline pressure
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking abilities
• Must be willing to work long hours, varying shifts (including nights and weekends) when necessary
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years or greater
