About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. This role involves assisting management in maintaining smooth operations to enhance customer satisfaction. The position is customer-facing and includes general maintenance and cleaning duties, as well as equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Love's provides training for those without prior experience, emphasizing the importance of customer service and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service assistance and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
- Utilize various tools and equipment for facility operations, including equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, refrigeration systems, etc.).
- Perform pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned maintenance duties.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures, prioritizing customer safety and satisfaction.
- Lift and move items weighing 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
