About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Renaissance Boulder Flatiron Hotel is responsible for performing preventative and repair maintenance work to ensure the hotel meets established quality and sustainability standards. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction and involves various maintenance tasks to maintain the hotel's facilities in a safe and appealing manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair work to maintain hotel standards.
• Assist with work orders related to replacing and repairing ceiling tiles, sheetrock, and wallpaper.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items as needed.
• Replace basic electrical fixtures, light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures.
• Perform minor plumbing functions as required.
• Focus on improving guest satisfaction scores and overall departmental performance.
• Maintain curb appeal through snow removal, lawn care, gardening, and trash removal.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma and Trade school course work in a related field preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience or equivalent training required.
