About the position

As a Maintenance Technician at The Hargrove at Southpoint, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of residents and the smooth operation of the property. Your primary responsibility will be to complete service requests efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. You will also proactively identify and address potential maintenance issues, contributing to a safe and pleasant living environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests for common areas, occupied and vacant units, or anywhere on the property as directed.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs such as replacing/repairing/servicing water heaters and clearing drain lines.
• Inspect appliances, A/C systems, toilets, faucets, lights, disposals, and all safety devices.
• Replace burned out, broken and/or nonworking exterior light bulbs and/or fixtures immediately.
• Conduct carpentry repairs such as kitchen cabinets, window screens/glass, and door locks.
• Perform routine mechanical repairs for all major appliances.
• Assist with trash outs and unit turns.
• Carry out miscellaneous tasks such as interior and exterior painting, floor tile installation and repair, and landscaping duties.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Detail-oriented and observant with a problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work any of the seven days of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Professional or industry certification in maintenance.
