About the position
The Maintenance Technician position at Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of plant equipment at the Middletown, Ohio Corrugated Packaging Plant. The role requires technicians to diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of production activities.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities as part of a team.
- Respond to breakdown calls in a production environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Technical degree in the mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.
- Ability to work shift work to support production schedules and maintenance planning.
- Authorization to work in the US.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus.
