About the position

Capt Hiram's Resort is searching for a committed, proactive Maintenance Technician who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all aspects of the resort. In order to succeed in this position, you should possess the ability to think critically and efficiently. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all facilities are in optimal condition for guests and staff alike. This includes a variety of tasks that may involve carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance duties. The technician will be expected to respond to on-call work order requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner. The position is full-time, with an hourly pay range of $18 to $19, and may require weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of the resort, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Clean and repair all building fixtures.
• Maintain all machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• Paint, repair flooring, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning/heating systems.
• Complete on-call work order requests quickly and efficiently.
• Compete daily work orders, which may include plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and carpentry tasks.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience is a must.
