About the position
The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a focus on injection molding setup and technical troubleshooting. The technician will also be responsible for programming and modifying PLC logic, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform injection molding setup and technical troubleshooting.
- Access, program, and modify PLC logic to make necessary repairs.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on various machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Set up molds for injection molding processes.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- At least 6+ months of experience with maintenance on injection molding machines.
- 1+ years of experience with PLC and electrical systems.
- 6+ months of experience in preventive maintenance.
Nice-to-haves
- Industrial repair experience.
- Experience with mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
