About the position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at Veritacor Manufacturing is responsible for maintaining and repairing all encapsulation and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and assisting in equipment changeovers, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of blending, encapsulation, and bottling line equipment.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program, including inspection and lubrication frequencies.
• Assist machine operators with efficient equipment changeovers and identify adjustments for improved efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to optimize production equipment performance.

Requirements

• Preferred high school diploma.
• Ability to write and speak English.
• Training/course work in Industrial, Packaging, or Electronics Technology is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for parts pickup.
• At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role, focusing on electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform work safely and dependably.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with labeling and bottling equipment.
• Background in a manufacturing environment.
