As a Maintenance Technician at Res Care Inc dba BrightSpring Health Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities. Your primary focus will be on performing preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in our Preventive Maintenance Program. This includes conducting vehicle home or facility inspections, assisting with pest control, and completing minor repairs such as patching holes, painting, and fixing furniture, doorknobs, and locks. You will also be responsible for clearing obstructions in drains and toilets, repairing washers, dryers, dishwashers, and small appliances, and replacing light bulbs and cover plates. Additionally, you may assist with vehicle repairs and are expected to make necessary repairs without instruction. Your role will also involve ensuring that purchase orders are completed and receipts obtained, as well as clearing driveways and sidewalks of snow and using appropriate materials to prevent slipping on ice. Other duties may be assigned as needed. This position is full-time and requires a commitment to quality care, ensuring that our clients can live their best lives. You will be part of a dedicated operational team that has been providing support to individuals with disabilities for over four decades.
