About the position

The Maintenance Technician role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical equipment and facilities within a fulfillment center. This position involves performing both corrective and preventive maintenance on various systems and tools, contributing significantly to the daily operations of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and automated machinery.
• Maintain material handling systems and tools.
• Ensure the upkeep of the facility's buildings and grounds.
• Utilize hand tools and access tight spaces for repairs.
• Work in variable temperatures and manage exposure to mechanical parts and potential hazards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and facilities.
• Proficient in reading safety rules and operating instructions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
• Skilled in using computer systems, including Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
