About the position
The Maintenance Technician (MT) at VASA Fitness plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of fitness equipment and facilities. This position is essential for providing a safe and welcoming environment for members, contributing to the overall uplifting experience that VASA Fitness aims to deliver.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cardio, weight, and general workout equipment.
- Performing facilities maintenance tasks.
- Assembling new equipment as needed.
- Painting and refurbishing equipment.
- Conducting wall patching and painting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in maintenance or repair work, preferably in a fitness or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in equipment maintenance or repair.
- Experience with painting and refurbishing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
