About the position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical and electrical components used in production equipment and material handling systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, particularly in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical and electrical components.
- Work on production equipment, material handling systems, and automatic lubrication systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and longevity.
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand machine operations and repairs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with electrical and hydraulics work.
- Strong experience in maintenance, mechanics, electrical, and hydraulics.
- Proficient in preventive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience within the injection molding or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments.
