About the position
The Maintenance Technician role at Adecco involves performing essential maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, material handling systems, automated machinery, and the facility's buildings and grounds. This position is critical to the daily operations of the fulfillment center, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and automated machinery.
- Maintain material handling systems and tools.
- Ensure the upkeep of the facility's buildings and grounds.
- Read safety rules and operating instructions to perform maintenance tasks.
- Write reports on maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Use hand tools and operate in tight spaces and elevated heights with fall protection.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 3-4 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and facilities.
- Proficient in reading safety rules and operating instructions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
- Skilled in using computer systems, including Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
