The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of apartment communities, contributing to a pleasant living environment for residents. This position involves performing routine maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision, demonstrating a variety of technical skills, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs with limited direction.
• Complete basic apartment turns and troubleshoot plumbing and electrical issues.
• Demonstrate skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
• Use standard hand and power tools appropriately.
• Complete apartment service tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a reliable mode of transportation and possess a valid driver's license.
• Be available for on-call work as needed.
• Remove snow and ice from premises as required.
• Engage in physical activities such as moving materials and appliances.
• Climb ladders as necessary.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with residents and team members.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Experience in property maintenance is preferred.
• Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
