The Maintenance Technician position at Premier Transportation involves providing essential repair and maintenance services for Class A Diesel vehicles and trailers. The role is critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the transportation fleet, supporting the company's logistics solutions across the retail industry. Technicians will work in a team environment and are expected to adhere to safety procedures and quality standards while performing their duties.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild and repair major components of Class A tractors and trailers.
- Perform proficient engine diagnostics.
- Repair ABS electrical systems and air brake systems.
- Service A/C clutches and transmissions.
- Replace tires and address tire wear and alignments.
- Correct suspension issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1+ years' experience in Class A tractors repair.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screens.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
