About the position

The Maintenance Trade Worker position at Tatitlek Technologies, Inc. involves performing various general building maintenance functions across a range of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades. This role is essential for supporting mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) machinery. The worker will be responsible for planning, laying out, and completing installations, modifications, and repairs, while also instructing other personnel in general mechanic positions. The job encompasses a variety of tasks, including making minor adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and sewage systems, as well as architectural and structural building components. This includes working on interior and exterior entrance doors, door locks, windows, floor systems, roof systems, roof gutters, downspouts, and window and floor coverings. Additionally, the worker will perform minor painting tasks as part of preventive maintenance and carry out preventive maintenance functions such as changing filters, cleaning cooling towers, heating and cooling coils, floor drains, grease traps, roof gutters, and downspouts, and replacing fluorescent tubes and light bulbs as needed. Miscellaneous functions may also be required, such as removing and installing signs and picture frames, assisting in relocating furniture and computers, and performing other similar duties as assigned. The position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the Government. Knowledge of various skilled craft trades, including electricity, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and communication systems, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
