About the position
The Maintenance Utility Service Worker at Lakeside Neurologic plays a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of the facility's buildings and equipment. The role involves hands-on repairs, scheduled maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for all facility and equipment maintenance, defects, and repair work.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems.
- Conduct minor facility renovation and remodeling tasks.
- Comply with all safety regulations as stated in the facility's safety program and report safety-related accidents, incidents, and unsafe work conditions.
- Attend safety-training programs as required.
- Be available on an on-call basis and work various shifts and assignments.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic skills in electrical, HVAC/R, plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to utilize diagnostic tools and instruments to troubleshoot facility systems.
- Ability to read and understand facility system plans and specifications.
- HVAC certification is desirable.
Nice-to-haves
