About The Position

The Maintenance Worker I is responsible for maintaining the physical structure and equipment of the Nursing Home under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance. This role involves performing skilled tasks related to wall and ceiling finishing, ensuring that all repairs and installations meet professional standards.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience in trades related to maintenance.
• Training that provides the required knowledge and skills for the position.
• Excellent physical condition to perform maintenance tasks.
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Initiative and resourcefulness in completing tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with paint spraying and sandblasting.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled level wall and ceiling finishing, including patching and joint taping.
• Install finishes such as wall covering and cove base.
• Apply prime and finish coats of paint for professional results.
• Rig staging and scaffolding as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Respond to snow removal emergencies and other urgent project needs.
